Discovering the Perfect Home: A First-Time Buyer's Journey with Kevin Feel

The Call that Started it All

As a Realtor in South Tampa, every client's story begins uniquely, but they all share a common thread – the pursuit of a dream home. My journey with Brian Wilson, a first-time home buyer, was no different. His parents, whom I had the pleasure of serving previously, reached out to me. The trust and connection I had built with the Wilsons during the sale of their custom home in March 2020, amidst the uncertainty of COVID, laid the foundation for this new adventure.

Initial Steps and Setting the Criteria

When I first spoke with Brian, I was eager to gather all the essential details. He had a clear vision – a Block house with a budget of $350,000 or less. Understanding his needs was crucial, as was making the process seamless and enjoyable. And, like most first-time home buyers, the budget was a constraint. Finding a newer home under $350,000 limits the market considerably.

So, one memorable evening, we embarked on our initial house-hunting expedition. Accompanied by Brian's parents, his girlfriend Bella, and an amusing observation that we all drove electric vehicles (EVs), the search felt promising. The homes we visited were vacant, and thankfully, there was electricity to light our way in the dark. A few properties sparked interest, but the quest for "the one" continued.

The Perfect Find

On a sunny Sunday, our persistence paid off. We stumbled upon a gem – a newer 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with a 1-car garage, built in 2021. The allure of its location, layout, and the freshness of a new house captivated Brian and Bella. It was a match!

Amidst our excitement, we faced a unique challenge. EVs need charging stations. Fortunately for us, this home had a garage. After moving in, Brian and Bella are going to install a charging station and apply for a tax credit to help with the cost.

The Closing Chapter

After successful negotiations, a thorough home inspection, and addressing a few minor repairs, we celebrated a joyful closing. Brian and Bella were thrilled, and I couldn't help but humorously hope that they would call me again in a few years for an upgrade.

This journey not only marked a milestone for Brian and Bella but also led to another opportunity. I will be listing the house they moved out of soon, waiting to be discovered by another hopeful homeowner. Tap here to send me a quick text for more details, or text (727) 410-8599

Gratitude and Reflection

Looking back, I am immensely grateful for the Wilsons' referral. It's a testament to the lasting relationships I strive to build with all my clients. Assisting a first-time buyer like Brian is always a rewarding experience. It's about guiding them through the intricacies of homeownership, from understanding the market to making informed decisions.

As Brian and Bella embark on their new life in their first home, I am reminded of the joy and fulfillment my role as a Realtor brings. It's not just about selling houses; it's about realizing dreams, building futures, and being a part of life's significant milestones.

If you are a past client, thank you for the referrals and repeat business. If you haven’t worked with me before, give me a call or read some more of my stories.
